Welcome and thank you for joining me on my very first blog post!! Eeekk...what can I say- I’m super excited, grateful and blessed to be on this amazing journey!!

Today I wanna talk to you about my laundry room refresh. It was definitely a labor of love y’all. This is one of those spaces in our home we kept pushing to the side. I wanted to make her special so when we do have to wash clothes we can wash them in style.

The trick was how to create a cozy and inviting space in a laundry room? So after putting my thoughts together this is what I decided on.

Creating a cozy laundry room: 

I wanted to have a piece in my laundry room that I could feed off of for inspiration. That is where Samsung Home Appliances came in and was the biggest game changer. My new black stainless stain washer and dryer definitely spoke to me #ad and is truly stunning.  It has so many amazing features - and I can remotely turn it on with Bixby - it has cut down on energy costs, and has an added feature steam sanitize which can kills up to 99% of bacteria- it’s a life changer friends!!

From choosing my washer and dryer from Samsung I was then able to work my way around the rest of the space.  I choose peel and stick wall paper from Wallpops to start as the next focal point in this space. Next I decided I didn’t want it to cover the entire wall but only half way. That is where the bead- board comes in to be the pop of white and next focal area.

I brought the hubby in to help me along the process- what can I say I was more the side kick than the professional- lol.

Here is a what the before looked like. You can see it’s very plan, boring and no charm or character. 

Shelf styling

I wanted to decorate the shelves above the Samsung washer and dryer in the spirit of Halloween. I’ll be honest, I have never decorated inside my home but it was so much fun!! I loved going to target and shopping my house for the decor items. Hanging the spider web was probably one of my favorite parts along with placing the bats everywhere. Who knew that decorating for Halloween in a laundry room would be so much fun!!
